Information about the invention of chinese fireworks


Fireworks were first invented in China in the 12th century for entertainment resulted from the invention of gunpowder. The common use of fireworks is fireworks display when people gathered together to admire the beauty of fireworks.

Fireworks now can be seen around the world in the new year. While in China people watche fireworks in the Chinese New Year and Yuanxiao festival. But when fireworks invented they are used to frighten away evil spirits and pray for happiness. Eventually, the art and science of firework making developed into an independent profession. In ancient China, pyrotechnicians (firework-masters) were well-respected for their knowledge and skill in mounting dazzling displays of light and sound.

Now China is the world's biggest manufacturer of fireworks, and Liuyang of Changsha, in Hunan province, is the hometown of fireworks. Every year, numerous of fireworks were made there and sold to the entire China and the rest of the world. And many guests are visiting Liuyang city every year, they want to see for themselves how fireworks are made and people of Liuyang are very proud of the fireworks.
